Onstage and on record, Adam Levine has duetted with Christina Aguilera, Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum and Alicia Keys. His latest duet partner, though, is a guy: Glee star Matthew Morrison.
Last year, Adam signed Matthew, who plays Mr. Schuester on the Fox series, to his record label, 222. Now, Us Weekly reports that he's joining Matthew in the studio to record a version of "Luck Be a Lady," a classic from the musical Guys & Dolls that was also one of Frank Sinatra's signature tunes. The track will appear on Matthew's upcoming album.
A source tells Us Weekly, "Matthew wanted to make a Broadway standards record and Adam loves classic records."
In 2011, Matthew released his self-titled debut album, which produced the minor hit "Summer Rain." When he signed with 222 last year, he said in a statement, "Adam and I share the same vision," while Adam said, "I am excited for everyone to hear Matthew's forthcoming album. Great things are in store for him with this release."
