Rihanna Named "Worst Supporting Actress" at Razzie Awards

When it comes to music, Rihanna may be a Grammy-winning hit machine, but apparently, her acting leaves a lot to be desired. Battleship, the sci-fi action movie in which she made her big-screen debut, tanked at the box office, and now she's "won" -- and we use that term loosely -- the Razzie Award for Worst Supporting Actress.
The Razzies -- or Golden Raspberry Awards -- are given out each year the night before the Oscars to recognize the absolute worst in movie making over the past year. Razzie voters apparently chose Rihanna as the "winner" in the Worst Supporting Actress category by a landslide. Her competition in the category included her Battleship co-star Brooklyn Decker, as well as Jessica Biel, Ashley Green and Jennifer Lopez.
In Battleship, Rihanna played weapons specialist Cora Raikes, and trained with a real U.S. soldier to learn proper weapons handling, military lingo and more.
