Michael Buble has unveiled the cover art for his new album To Be Loved, which is due out in April; the album's first single, "It's a Beautiful Day," has just hit iTunes, and a 90-second preview of the lyric video online now.  The full video will be out March 4.

The album cover shows a scruffy, unshaven, pouty-faced Michael posing on an orange-colored background, wearing a leather jacket and white shirt, looking off to the side as he removes his tie.  To Be Loved is in stores April 23, and if you pre-order the disc on iTunes now, you'll get an instant download of "It's a Beautiful Day."

The bouncy, upbeat single has an unusual theme: it's about how happy Michael is that he and his girlfriend have broken up, because now he's free to go out and find someone new.  In fact, he's positively ecstatic to be rid of the woman.

"When you said goodbye, my whole world shined," sings Michael.  "I’m glad that you’re the one that got away/It’s a beautiful day/It’s my turn to fly, so girls, get in line."

The song finishes with the father-to-be singing, "If you ever think I’ll take up my time with thinking of our breakup/Then, you’ve got another thing coming your way/‘Cause it’s a beautiful day/Oh, baby, any day that you’re gone away/It’s a beautiful day."
