Where we serve in the community
The Miracle League of Arkansas
The Miracle League of Arkansas is a baseball field that was built by the Downtown Rotary Club in 2006. The Miracle Field is designed for kids with special needs and currently has over one hundred players and as many buddies! Buddies are those kids who are able to assist and protect the Miracle Leaguers -- if you have a child that needs a place to serve, this is perfect!! Our House provides the working homeless - families and individuals - with safe, clean, comfortable housing; food; free child care; education; and job training in order that they may return to independence and lead productive lives
Love Truth Care Ministries (LT Care)
Love Truth Care Ministry is an organization in the Central High School neighborhood of Little Rock where feeding the poor, ministering to their needs, and mentoring the young are all top priorities. LTCare was started almost twenty years ago by Jim Phillips, then a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock, because he saw the needs of that area not being met. Now Phillips, who now attends Liberty Hills Missionary Baptist Church at 12th and Schiller, is partnering with ministries in Honduras to do the same there. LTCare needs volunteers for its three times weekly mentor/tutor time with the kids. The Fischer family has been going down there now for four years, and you will find several of the LTCare kids at the Fischer home just about any weekend. See why they love it so much!
